Honduras

The Terranova kids raised money to provide a cow named "Henry" for a family in Las Mercedes, Honduras and another one named "Henrietta" for the school there. Henry is the black one to the right; Henrietta is the brown one. Click to hear testimonies from our July 2011 trip!

Why Honduras?

  • We feel God's leading in this direction.
  • Close enough to go more often than overseas.
  • Much less expensive than overseas.
  • We get to impact a very unreached people group.
  • It is safe for families to go together.
  • Where is it?

  • Central America
  • Surrounded by Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua
  • We'll focus on the Lenca Indians in Las Mercedes
  • Our contact is a pastor in La Esperanza
